No need to be afraid of him, son. He’s all bluff.

First off, I want to welcome the Tech Report reader(s) who’ve swung by, as I’ve been linked in Ronald’s Shortbread from Sunday.

Speaking of going somewhat public, I got my first troll today.

I feel special. :)

You’ll notice the diatribe I posted in response to two weak little lines of text. Consider this the head on the post for the bridge coming into Willisburg.

Anonymous posters, expect to have your snide remarks made public and responded to as I see fit. As long as I leave the comments section on and you post anonymously, you will be tagged and released into the hunting range.

*ahem*

I don’t think they let people in my condition carry a gun.

I’ve apparently had a rough past three days, I just don’t remember most of it. Health is waining, and I’m mildly burnt out on the tech end of things.

What does this mean to you, gentle reader?

Visual comedy and screedy setups… sorta.

I’ve been digging through my hard drive and a nearly decade long accumulation of crap that’s moved across four computers. No, it’s pronounced “Fronkensteen.”

Well, despite stating last week that I was feeling better… I’ll admit, I was still sulking a bit. Between that and this urge to just disappear for a while forced me away for a bit. Life’s been busy and the self loathing doesn’t dry up very fast at times.

That changed yesterday… I finally feel good about the decision that was made to make someone else the first DA at our store. Guess why. It’s two words, and it’s something that the other guy had to sit through for four hours before the training seminar I sat through yesterday.

MEDIA TRAINING.

Learning how to behave and interview well with the local television news crews. Brett, buddy… IT’S ALL YOURS!!! I’ll bide my time and wait for the new position to open after the media storm dies down, as I really don’t like the modern media, and I’m rather camera shy. Enjoy having those talking heads with the IQ of a shoehorn looking over your shoulder and questioning you to death like the Spanish Inquisition while they do a fluff piece to wedge between the “guaranteed most accurate” weather report and high-school football scores.

*breathes deep* It feels good to be a Counter Agent right now.
